Today, we pulled out all the stops. There were balloons (which he tried to chase), his favorite treats (served on a dog-safe cake plate, of course), and a little party hat that stayed on for about five seconds—but hey, we got the picture! Teddy’s eyes lit up the moment we sang "Happy Birthday," and I swear, he knew it was all for him. His tail never stopped wagging.
More than the celebration, though, today is about gratitude. Grateful for the unconditional love he gives every single day. Grateful for the way he knows just when we need a nuzzle or a paw on our lap. Grateful for the joy he brings to every corner of this home, and to every heart he’s touched.
